A Burr Walnut Writing Box Edged in Brass, Circa 1860. |
A very good example of a brass edged burr walnut veneered
writing box. Note that no screws
or pins are visible on the brass. Both the outside and the interior
of the box are French polished.
15.5" by 9.5".
